Formed in March 2013 in Italy from an idea of Michele and Malshum with the aim of playing Brutal Death Metal.
In August 2013 the band entered in the Studio to record two promotional tracks later called "Promo 2013" thanks to which the band signs a contract with the Japanese label Ghastly Music.
In 2013 the band completed the songs for the debut album "Inhuman Theory of Chaos" recorded at NPAS4 Studio and release in October 2014 by Ghastly Music.
Some support dates followed for Wormed, Vulvectomy, Devangelic, Katalepsy, Parasitic Ejaculation, Near Death Condition in Italy, partecipation in the Rape the Escape Festival in Austria and mini-tour in Germany to support Fleshless.
In May 2017, their second album "Necro Parasite Anomaly", was released this time came out by the renowned Japanese label Amputated Vein Records.
During 2017 and 2018 Cerebral Extinction played in promotional shows in support of the new album including the Frankfurt Death Fest,a European tour called "Necroparasite Over Europe" together with Craniotomy, Epicardectomy, Oral Fistfuck and Consumed by Vultures in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In April 2018 a mini-tour in the United Kingdom with the grinders Black Skies Burn and June the partecipation in the Flesh Party Open Air in Slovakia.
In August 2019, after various line-up changes, Nicola joined us as permanent drummer, contributing to a stylistic  change that was in the air by evolving the style into Technical Death Metal, bringing various influences to the already varied background of the band.In October 2021 we recorded again at the NPAS4 Studio our third album called "Escape From Illusion" with the addition of the eclectic bassist Wally.
